Golf at Canyon Fairways

One of the main attractions of the Canyon Fairways community is the Tournament Players Club (TPC) at the Canyons Golf Course. TPC is owned and operated by the PGA and is one of the few facilities actually open to the public. Canyon Fairways residents gain access to the 18-hole championship golf course and lay claim to all of the spectacular views the course and club offers.

The golf course has been named and heralded as one of the Best Places to Play by Golf Digest. The course is a 7,081-yard championship golf course with a par-71, and was designed by Bobby Weed and the World Golf Hall of Famer Raymond Floyd. The Stratosphere casino and hotel and glimpses of the majestic canyons and mountains are captured at various places along the course.

With access to the TPC at Canyons, Canyon Fairways also boasts an enormous, 207,000 square foot business center known as Canyons Center. Also located in the area is Cottonwood Canyon, a 70-acre linear park filled with smaller parks, open spaces, walking trails, biking trails, and picnic facilities. The commercial retail center of Covington Cross is located nearby. Golfers adore the area because of the convenient access to the public course and club at TPC – Canyons.

The Canyon Fairways community is located about one mile south of Summerlin Hospital, which is found at 657 North Town Center Drive in Las Vegas. The hospital is a for-profit hospital owned and operated by the Universal Health Services and is the only hospital in Summerlin. Las Vegas Dermatology and a variety of area physicians are located nearby. Within a short drive from Canyon Fairways are a variety of dentists, local pharmacies, chain and retail drug stores, and family practitioners.
