Located within the neighborhood are a variety of amenities, including sports courts, interactive water play area, and access to the Spring Mountain range. Community parks are scattered throughout the neighborhood.
The homes are beautifully designed with Mission and Hacienda styles, which provide residents with the feel of living in Spain. Located to the south of Palomar, residents have access to the popular Arroyo Golf Club and the Red Rock Country Club. Located within the community residents enjoy the 20-acre park in the middle of the neighborhood that offers a wide number of amenities. Walking trails wind through the village and residents take part in playing a round of tennis, t-ball, soccer, basketball, or volleyball on one of the many sports courts and fields. The trail system that runs from the northern to the southern border of the neighborhood provides a great way to get around. Easy access to the I-215 Beltway, makes city amenities close and convenient.

Located along West Charleston Avenue residents of Palomar have access to a number of restaurants and popular dining options. John Cutter at 11770 West Charleston Boulevard offers a laid-back environment known for its hearty steaks and American grub. Video poker and gaming is found at the establishment. Toros Spanish Tapas Kitchen and Gaming is another local favorite found at 11760 West Charleston Boulevard. Further to the east on Charleston Blvd, the popular Mark Rich’s NY Pizza and Pasta serves up chicken cacciatore and a vast menu of pies and entrees.

The Summerlin Medical Center and Hospital serve the residents of Palomar. Located in the heart of Summerlin at North Town Center Drive, the Summerlin Hospital offers a comprehensive care package focused on health and wellness. Included at the hospital and medical center are the Children’s Medical Center, Rehabilitation Program, Robotic Surgery, Stroke Services, and Senior Advantage Programs. Surrounding the area is a variety of pharmacies, drug stores, dental offices, and eye doctors. Shopping
Along West Charleston Boulevard, residents find a variety of retail and grocery options. From Albertson’s to Whole Foods Market, groceries are found within a short driving distance from the Palomar community. Costco and Marshalls are located nearby. Popular shopping centers and strip malls in the area include Canyon Pointe and the Shops at Boca Park. Access to the Summerlin Parkway and I-215 Beltway make travel a breeze from Palomar and deliver residents to some of the most popular shopping destinations in the city.
