Exploration Peak & Exploration Park
Imagine a playground that consists of a 2,846-foot natural mountain park with an 80-acre western themed park at the base. Hike or explore mountain bike trails leading to scenic vistas including the panoramic view from the peak of the Las Vegas Valley and Mountain's Edge community.
Other features of Exploration Park include:

Mountain's Edge Regional Park
This innovative 220-acre neighborhood park will be implemented in stages. Designed for all ages, there is an activity here to meet everyone's needs. When it's time for a break, there are plenty of enhanced picnic facilities, restrooms, BBQ pits and shade shelters, and even dog water fountains. On weekends, the ice-cream man pays a visit.
First Phase:
Encompassing 18-acres, the first phase has a fitness theme with activities you've probably never even imagined:
- Wall for racquet sports
- Multi-use turf fields
- A bike town with mini-streets, with stop signs and crosswalks where children can learn to ride their bikes and scooters in a safe environment.
- Outdoor climbing experience
- A huge outdoor gym area with exercise stations
- 1.5 mile walking trail
- Jungle gym for kids under 5 years of age, and another for those between 5-12 years
- Basketball court

Future plans for development of the Mountain's Edge Regional Park include:
- A 90-foot baseball diamond four-plex
- Festival Area
- Skate Park
- Cultural Center
- Performing arts amphitheater
- More sports fields
- Playground with spray feature
Nathaniel Jones Park
This is the consummate neighborhood park and gathering place. Meet your friends for a quick game of basketball, walk or jog on the walking trail, take the kids to the tot lot and splash pad and have a picnic afterwards.
Paiute Park
This is one of the newer parks in Mountain's Edge that features a multi-use sports field, sand volleyball, tot lot and basketball courts.
