Stallion Mountain Golf Homes

The Stallion Mountain community was originally named Sunrise Golf Club and comprised of three traditional golf courses, but in 1997 the facility was sold to renowned developer Billy Walters and later renamed and redesigned. A central wild horse theme holds true today.

Two of the three golf courses were sold to Pulte homes, which are known for their landscaped grounds and uniquely designed communities. The remaining Stallion Mountain Golf Club is a semi-private facility that provides 18 holes of challenging course designed by Jim Colbert, the PGA Tour legend. Architect Jeff Brauer played a major role in the design work of the course.

Stallion Mountain Neighborhoods

There are three neighborhoods and one condo community among the Stallion Mountain community.

The Fairways

Most of the homes in The Fairways are situated along the golf course. Homes range from 1,531 to 2,300 square feet.

The Greens

Homes in The Greens offer some of the largest at Stallion Mountain and range in size from 2,476 to 2,881 square feet.

The Links

Residential properties within The Links community have their own private recreational facilities and amenities, including a pool, spa, fitness center and clubhouse. Homes range from 1,190 to 1,619 square feet.

Black Horse Condo Community

Homes in the Black Horse community are single story condos that range in square footage size, from 935 to 1,196 square feet. Gated entries, lush landscaping, swimming pool access, fountains, spas, and clubhouse facilities are all available in Black Horse.

For locals looking for a great night out off the Strip, Billy Bob’s Steak House and Saloon located in Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall is sure to provide a night of food, fun and entertainment. Located at 5111 Boulder Highway, Billy Bob’s specializes in entrees made from aged Midwestern, corn-fed beef seasoned and grilled to perfection. Their filet mignon, rib eye, New York strip, and queen cut prime rib earned the location a 2013 certificate of excellence from TripAdvisor.

Shopping

Stallion Mountain residents will find an excess of excellent shopping centers and outlets in the immediate area. Shops and services include Walmart Supercenter, Costco Wholesale, Target, The Home Depot, NAPA Auto Parts, and Walgreens. In addition, Franklin Shopping Center is home to several retail outlets and services including Walmart, One Nevada Credit Union, Elite Sports, Smartstyle Hair Salon and more.

Health Care

Having access to quality, affordable healthcare is a major consideration when choosing the right community and Stallion Mountain residents have several health care organizations within the immediate vicinity. Health care providers include Southwest Medical Associates, Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center, Children’s Urgent Care, and UMC Quick Care.

Located at 2075 E. Flamingo Road, Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center has been serving members of the community since 1971. Desert Springs offers a wide variety of health services including cardiac care, stroke center, sleep center, diabetes treatment center, radiology, emergency services, rehabilitation center, wound care, and surgical weight loss.
