The golf community of Promontory is located along the northern edge of The Ridges and offers convenient access to both of the main thoroughfares that run around and through the area – Flamingo Road and Marble Ridge Drive. Dining options are plentiful in and around the neighborhood of Promontory. Bear’s Best offers a casual dining location that is popular for golfers and their families. Bear’s Den BBQ serves made-to-order burgers, bratwursts, hot dogs, and other grille favorites, while Jack’s Place serves drinks and appetizers in a casual sports lounge atmosphere. Patio dining is available, which offers breathtaking views of the Red Rock Canyon area.
Health Care
There are two main hospitals that care for residents of Promontory and surrounding areas. Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center is located at 9300 West Sunset Road and Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center is located at 3186 South Maryland Parkway. Both are located within a short driving distance from Promontory homes. Scattered along the main thoroughfares along the outskirts of the neighborhood are a variety of specialty medical offices and primary care clinics. Dentists, women’s health specialists, pediatricians, and eye doctors are also found within a short drive from the entrance of Promontory.
Shopping
The Flamingo Promenade Shopping Center is located along West Flamingo Road and offers a number of shops and retail stores. In the area are Target, Kohl’s, and Sears. North, along the West Flamingo Road thoroughfare, are other popular stores like Costco, Marshalls, and Albertson’s. Turning right on West Charleston Boulevard will take residents of Promontory to a variety of retail chain stores, such as REI and Pier 1 Imports, as well as to the popular retail and dining complex known as Tivoli Village.
